Boris Manhart

Boris has founded and helped build several companies, including a unicorn and several scale-ups across stages and industries. These years gave him a very practical view of what really carries an organisation, and what only looks good until pressure rises.

Today, his focus is work close to decisions. As IMD Startup Strategist he accompanies teams through strategic decisions, and as a guest lecturer at Stanford University he shares these perspectives in education. Marc Pittner

Marc comes from the engine room. Over many years he has built platforms, workflows and teams in large organisations — and brought along the inconvenient truth that even the best strategies fail when execution doesn't hold.

His contribution in the duo is the craft: he translates what emerges from diagnosis and sparring into concrete tools, workflows and organisational forms. Pragmatic, iterative, happy to use modern tools — but never falls into the tool trap. The work has to keep running in your hands afterwards, not in his.
